Device Change

This page guides you through transferring license to a new device.

When to Change Device

Common scenarios:

  • Upgraded to new computer
  • Replaced old device
  • Changed work environment

Change Process

Step 1: Unbind Old Device

In User Center:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to Device Management
  3. Find old device
  4. Click "Unbind"

Step 2: Activate on New Device

On new device:

  1. Install BShellX Pro
  2. Open Authorization Center
  3. Enter activation code
  4. Complete activation

Step 3: Verify Binding

Check in User Center:

  • New device appears in device list
  • Old device is removed
  • License status is correct

Important Notes

Before Unbinding

  • Ensure old device is no longer needed
  • Export important configurations
  • Backup connection data

After Unbinding

  • Old device loses Pro features
  • Cannot use both devices simultaneously
  • New device gets full Pro features

Device Limit Considerations

If reaching device limit:

  • Unbind unused devices first
  • Or upgrade license for more devices
  • Contact support for assistance

Troubleshooting

Cannot Unbind

Possible reasons:

  • Device is currently active
  • Network connection issue
  • Account permission issue

New Device Activation Failed

Check:

  • License has available device slots
  • Activation code is valid
  • Network connection is normal
